We have two main rides that take around 2.5 hours, including a cuppa along the way. The first ride takes you into the beautiful Pelorus River and on a nice day you can swim your horse in one of the numerous swimming holes along the way. Getting thoroughly wet is optional however and a drier path through the river can be taken if wet clothes are not desirable. You will however still need a change of footwear and trousers after the ride as some wetting is inevitable in the deeper crossings. The second ride takes you up and around the surrounding hills and provides stunning photographic opportunities from spectacular lookout points. Longer rides are available on request and catering (food and drink) for half day rides is also a feature.
Prices for pre-booked rides for guests staying at The Ranch House are discounted by way of "package type booking", while riders who are not staying guests pay $110.00 per person per normal 2.5 hour ride.
